This is great opportunity to observe wintering waterbirds in San Francisco Bay, where they are often unobservable from shore. Scan the shoreline for Black Oystercatchers and Brant, as well as large rafts of scaup, grebes, and surf scoters. We may even follow herring runs and feeding frenzies! If conditions permit, we take a spectacular trip under the Golden Gate Bridge. Lunch and hot drinks are provided!
