Will you secure Richardson Bay's future?
In 2014, wet celebrated the graduation of our first cohort of school-year Audubon Youth Leaders. The event took place in the Lyford House in honor of our six Youth Leaders Kacie Cox, Richard Serrano Diaz, Mario Antonio Duran, Kyle Joseph Martin, Rosa Mendoza, and Marshay Aujanique Walker (pictured above) – all of whom are graduating seniors attending public high schools in Marin County.
At the graduation celebration event the youth spoke about how they learned to “defy the stereotypes” that follow them at school. This diverse group formed a bond with Richardson Bay, a bond that will carry the importance of this place to the next generation.
Audubon Youth Leaders continues to provide young people with an opportunity to develop their leadership skills while deepening their knowledge of bay ecology and conservation.
