Join us on December 10th as we co-host the bilingual Youth Winter Bird Count with WildCare in San Rafael's Pickleweed Park.

This free annual favorite event celebrates birds, families and nature! Aspiring young birders and outdoor enthusiasts have the opportunity to contribute to conservation by collecting data while they learn about our local birds with the help of naturalists and volunteer birders. Groups work together and look for as many numbers of various species as they can, and tally up the results. No prior birding experience necessary! Binoculars and scopes will be provided or bring your own. Refreshments will be served. We will meet at Pickleweed (Albert J. Boro) Community Center at 8:30am for registration.
